About Petworth Marquee Hire

Petworth Marquee Hire is an award winning company started in 1988 by proprietor Richard Whitcomb with a single traditional rope & pole marquee. Richard has steadily built the company which now comprises the most up-to-date and highest quality aluminium framed marquee structures, together with beautiful linings and interiors, flooring and furniture. Richard's priority from day one has been to provide the finest quality equipment along with a personal and professional service and the company now has a wide and diverse client base, both domestic and corporate.

The Performance Textiles Association (PTA) Industry Award was made to Petworth Marquee Hire, in 2000, for its overall excellence and innovative siting of marquees in work carried out for clients such as the Royal Navy, where marquees are erected on flight decks of ships, and siting a marquee on the end of the Palace Pier in Brighton. More recently Petworth Marquee Hire has supplied marquees internationally in the Dijon region of France.
